Suzanne Mall opened Performing Arts Dance Academy in the spring of 1994. She was the first tenant to move into the newly renovated plaza at 206 Lake St. When the space next to the studio became available, Performing Arts immediately stepped in to create a second class room. (Known as Studio B). It was decided to use the front space to carry basic dancewear in the style and colors used by Performing Arts students. This made great use of space & became a great place to purchase dancing apparel, dance shoes, and other dance supplies for parents. As the community's awareness of the business continued to grow, so did the need for even more space. In the summer of 2008, Performing Arts made plans to move into 1800 sq. feet that became available on the opposite side of the dance studio. The store known as "Studio B Dance & Fitness", opened December 13, 2008. The new store, designed in an art deco style as a vintage movie theater, is now able to carry a large line of merchandise that will cater to the entire Southtowns dance & fitness community.

At Studio B, our trained staff can help you find exactly what your dancer wants and needs. We carry basic and fashion apparel for all types of dance, gymnastics, iceskating, and cheerleading. We also carry dance shoes & tights, bags & accessories, as well as jewelry & makeup. Our size selection ranges from 2T for children through adults and plus sizes. Studio B proudly serves Western New York, Southern Ontario, and the Greater Niagara Frontier for all your dancing apparel needs.
